Baby Browning Failure to Feed
Actually it is a PSP copy of a Baby Browning..I bought it at an Estate sale and it looks real good...But here is the problem. I try to load a round and it won't go all the way into the chamber..When it's stuck there if I push on the bottom of the magazine, of a sudden the slide will close and all is well..Then I might get one or two shots and the same thing happens..Again, if I push the bottom of the magazine the slide will again close..Any suggestions would be appreciated...........Thanks

About 99% of all malfunctions in autopistols can be traced to the magazine. Try a new or different magazine. If the problem goes away, you know the first mag was bad. Probably the feed lips have gotten worn or mis-shaped.

David, you were right on the money..The pistol came with two mags..One had a removeable floor plate and one did not..The one that did not have a removable floor plate was bad.. I loaded the other and fired off 6rds as fast as I could pull the trigger..(I live in the country so I can get away with that)..I realize factory mags will be hard to come by, but are the Mec-Gar mags of good quality?
Thanks, Andy0
