I have a Glock 40cal. I have put about 100 rds through it and like it. My question is glock 40 vrs glock 45. The 40 cal is my home defense gun. I am considering going to the 45 cal instead. Is it worth it?
french people don't speak german, Thank my dad for that!!0 -
A glock 20 is 10mm not 40. is it the old style or new style with rails. 0 -
I am sorry, have my head stuck you know where. It's a model 22, .40cal 0 -
Hi-Caps or Post ban mags ? Box, papers etc ?

I might can find the papers but don't then again, maybe not.
I am not sure about the hi-caps deal(please explain). It's in a case with only 1 mag. and the loader(helps you load the mag; not sure what it's called).0 -
Oh, and it has the Pachmayr pistol grip. 0 -
Your speaking of the amout of ammo it will hold in the mag? If so, it's a 10 shot. 0 -
OK looks like I got pushed down. I will make a guess, please let me know if nI am close...$350-400?
Thanks in advance for the responces,

After a quick search on the auction side, it appears that 350-400 is in the ballpark.

That's low wholesale for your gun assuming you haven't shot it much, and it doesn't sound like you have. CDNN is presently selling trade-in Glock 22s, and they are asking $389 and up for them. This is dealer wholesale on a good used gun, not what the lucky buyer will pay (hopefully, he also will pay a used Glock price, meaning $425-450 at most).
You can tell if your mag is 10 rounds or hi-capacity by looking at the holes on the back of the mag. If they count up to 10, it's a post-ban; if they count up to 12 or higher, it's a pre-ban. But you still have to sell at least one mag with the gun so you can't expect to get extra for that.
Since the price of new Glocks is now up to $469 (at the absolute minimum sale price), with standard prices ranging more commonly from $525 to $575, I would say you could expect $400-425 without any problem. Now, if you wanted a dealer to buy it from you, the $300-350 number becomes the norm, but "Norm" at the gun shop is never your best way to go to sell your guns these days [;)]. Again, assuming the gun is in excellent condition, $400 at a minimum, or $375 to a good friend if you're feeling generous. And get $50 more for trijicon night sights, zilch for Meprolite night sights.

I just sold one on 5-31-03 www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=9170382 , less than a year old it had 20 rounds down the tube, new style grip, with the new style box, 2 10 rounders, papers ect ... brought $435 and I listed it 2-3 times to get that ...
... $350 sounds about right for the older style, 2 10 rounders with no box or papers ...

Thanks folks. If anyone is interested in buying this please let me know. I will sell for $375. I am not familer with how to sell it on this website but pending that it doesn't cost too much to sell it on here I will be happy to do it that way.
Thanks again,
Ron
