AR-15: pe-ban vs. post-ban

what is the difference between a pre-ban AR-15 and a post-ban AR-15? will a post-ban AR-15 still accept military 30-round magazines? [?]

  The post bans do not have the evil componets such as a bayonet lug or a flash supressor and a folding stock. and yes a 30 rd mag will fit in a post ban AR.
