Help me with this scope

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about this scope. It is aproximately 6 inches long, was acquired in Bosnia from Russian troops for a Gerber multi-tool, is adjustable for elevation only, has a luminous reticle, and a large dovetail on the right side of the body. The only markings are on the front of the body and are: ZRAK, ON-M59, and what looks like a serial number. Came in a brown leather case with a cloth, yellow filter, and a lens brush. I have heard that Zrak was associated with Zeiss-Jena and may have been based in Sarajevo, but I'm not sure of this. Can't figure out how to insert image, but can e-mail if you wish.   After WWII parts of Europe were split up.
  East Germany, city of Jena was the home of Zeiss. Some of the employees never escaped, and some never tried. They were the backbone of the Russian optics industry.
  
  The Ukraine, and Belarus were two major homes of USSR optics. Zrak was made in Sarajevo as you noted. Much of the training, production machinery, and labs were designed, and or came from their East German counterparts.
  
  The Russians had the concept of building a lot of military items as bare bones as possible. The more the merrier. That way there always was a 'replacement'.
  So much for a 'free market society'.
  Schott Optik of West Germany did sell glass to the Russians.
  
  The scope & issue kit you have fit the side of the M59 rifle. Windage wasn't made for it. Remember the 'bare bones'...? Plus, the combination rifle & scope weren't designed for very long range shots.
