Who Has Submited a Gun for Curio and Relic

Hi Although there is some, info on the net regarding getting a item recognized as a Curio and Relic by the Federal Gov.

I would like to here from some one, Whom has done this successfully.
Especially, how much info on the gun is thoroughly needed. e.g.
production figs. dates etc.

Reason: I would like the AMT LongSlide Hardballer recognized it is no longer manufactured, Unique 7" barrel, history use in steel plate and Bowling pin shooting.
But as every one knows, Info on it's production etc. is not had able.

Please Advise me with your success and what is really needed.

  AMT Hardballer Longslide 45 is getting rarer, prices on them are in
  the $600+ area. They are novel in that they have a 7" Barrel.
  Historical, I know of no other 7" 45 cal on the market past or present. Bizarre might be
  included in the above.
  
  Please info me on getting them for Blue book costs in excellent condition.

  I have a Wyoming Arms .45. It too has the 7 inch barrel, stainless frame and came with Millett adjustable sights. I think they stopped making this gun in early 1992.

  The Widley Automatic Pistol was available for many years chambered for .45 Win. Mag. and had 5,6,7,8,10,12, and 14 inch barrels available. There appear to be a number of equally "bizzare" pistols out there.
