Yep, I picked up a couple of the stainless 10/22s with full-length laminated grey stocks two or three years ago when the local wallyworld had a clearance, and have been told that they were made exclusively for Wal-Mart. I've never seen another one around though.

If Walmart sold it that means there was a ton of them on the market I dont see any collector value for that reason.

I have to agree with rtvh and Donld. I bought my 10/22 with the grey laminated stock at a gun show in Jan. of this year; it was new in the box. I'm not sure how this gun dealer got it.

Does anyone have experience with the stainless 10/22 that Walmart sells...and is supposed to have exclusive rights to sell? How accurate do they shoot and how is the trigger pull?

I have an old blue 10/22 with peep sights that shoots like a dream but I need to set up a 10/22 with a scope. I was thinking about the stainless model and was wondering if it will be as good as my old blue gun.

Also, what scope would be a good choice (hopefully for under $200).

The use of the rifle will be for turtles in the ponds and skunks that come close to the house.

    Thanks,
    Rafter-S
