Rebore-rerifle
I'm tring to find a gunsmith service to rebore and rerifle a 6" barrel for an "N" frame S&W. I want to open up a .357 to .400 or .401 for a cartrige conversion. I've had this done in the past by Dick Nickels, but unfortunally Dick passed on a few years back. He was a smaller operation and could work on small projects with you individually unlike some of the bigger operations.
I'm hoping someone might know of another operation like this who could do a few of these barrels for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Inclosed is a picture of a Mod 28 S&W that the previous owner says was bored out to .45 Long Colt by the Maga-Na-Port Custom Shop? The barrel and the cylinder were both done.He says it was done about 20 yrs. ago.I find the barrel looks a little thin but shoots great.The job looks very well done.
