I am looking for some information on a chinese SKS, what is the value of one in real good shape, with scope and sling, and appox. 500 rounds of 7.62-39 ammo This is a whole new area for me. thanks for any info

  There can be a wide price range in the auctions--these are about "right" in the price range for what you have (the ammo is 1440 rounds, but your 500 rounds is probably worth around $50):

  I bought my postban chinese paratrooper sks back in 1997 for $150. I really can't see it being worth any more than I paid for it.

  I have a 1951 russian sks in very good shape. How much would this cost because I heard that russians cost more than chinese

  unfired we sell them for 179.00 w/ out scope so id say for yours maybe you could get 150.00 if in good condition ,also depends on what scope you have on it ?if in good condition,russian are alittle more
