Shipping to California

Hi all. I had a question regarding shipping to California.

I was wondering if it is legal to ship to area code: 95765.

I am going to update my auctions to read, no shipping to California. It's just too complicated and I am quite new to this. However, this auction already ended.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.[/size=2][/size=3]

  Are there any special restrictions on shipping 3006 ball ammo to California? I am familiar with the DOT regulations but does California or any of the counties, cities etc. have any specific restrictions in addition to the DOT regulations?

  The pistol grip stock by itself is unrestricted. Attaching it to a firearm would create an assault weapon but the stock alone is not prohibited and could have a legitimate use as a replacement for a damaged stock on a registered assault weapon. The 30 round magazine is prohibited. Only licensed California Firearms dealers may receive high capacity magazines shipped from out of state sources. California law provides a permit for the importation of high capacity magazines but these are not available to the general public. If the buyer had such a permit he would have provided a copy to you at the start. SHORT ANSWER: the stock is fine so ship it. The magazine is restricted so ask for an FFL or California magazine permit--without one (or both) of these two do not ship the magazine.
