Eastern carbine

It may be simple but I don't know. When talking about Win lever guns what is an eastern carbine. Thanks in advance.

  I recently saw a gun, a Win. 94, advertized as an "Eastern carbine". Is there a difference between Eastern and Western Winchesters? If so, what are they? Is one more valuable than the other? Thanks.

  Eastern model has no saddle ring. I have no idea about relative values.

  i have a pre-64 model 94 inland or eastern carbine in .32 win. special with a 20 inch BBL and no saddle ring. value on these guns is high, in the $900.00-$1,100.00 range in NRA EXCELLANT condition. best regards, mike.
