Leupold VariX2 Question
I own 2 Vari X 2 scopes- Both scopes say VariX2, and then have a "c" printed after variX2. Does this mean it is a "compact" or do all varix2 actually read VariX2c? I am asking this, because all of the VariX2s I have seen(not many) have a c at the end, and when going through auctions, sometimes it has a "c" when saying what the scope is, and sometimes it does not.
Are there two different VariX2s? The "C" variety, and the "non C" variety?

Salzo, I noticed you haven't had any replies and this is not an expert answer, but............my guess would be that it would mean "coated"............just a guess..........you can however go to Leupold.com and email customer support and they're very helpful in my experiences with them.

VXII's have a single layer coating.
Compacts are noticably shorter, and have smaller objectives.
Example objective on 3-9X's:
Full size is 40mm.
Compact is 33mm.
Suffixes can be used to identify manufacturing peroids, but the s/n is the best way.

Guns and Glass- The scopes I am speaking of are VARI-X2s, not VX2s. The one scope is a 3x9x40 and written on it is VARIX-2c. The other scope is a 0-4x20(i think its 20) and that scope also says VariX2-2c
