Mossburg 9200...ever heard of it?
I just came across a guy who is looking to part with a Mossburg 9200 (12 ga., FR, cantilevered barrel) and it is indeed a good looking gun. I have never heard of a 9200 and I would be interested in using it as a bird gun as well. I can't seem to find any info on this particular gun or smooth bore barrels for birds either. Any ideas?

depend on what you or paying for it i have one i got at a gun show it jammed but i was able to fix it. it will shoot 3" shells and under but they don't make them anymore the chokes are the same as the model 500 would not pay over $200.00 if perfect $225.00 the problems i found is a weak recoil spring and retainer clip.

every thing rusty1 said and I'll add that you will have a real hard time finding a gun shop that will take them in on trade if you ever decide to sell it, down at my local Gander Mountain they've had one on their used rack for months now and it just sits there , nobody wants them because of the problems rusty talked about,, unless its real cheap and you want to take a chance on getting one that works stay away from it 0 -
