Smith or Kahr in Micro-40?

Either are quality weapons, the walther would defineatly be "the mouse that roared". I own a Star Firestar in .40s&W. I feared it might be uncontrollable, but not at all. It is a little heavy for a compact, tho, so I would suspect either of these might "bite" a little.

I have had smiths and just didn't like them. I have had 3 Kahrs and they have been absolutely great. Recommned with night sights.,
Half of every day is night time.

Gentlemen, thanks for the replies and I apologize for my tardy response. I check this site about once a week during summer months because I am on summer vacation. If I settled on the Kahr, would the .40 still have an advantage over the 9mm considering the short barrels of the MK's (3 inch barrel)? Also, my other choices were either a Para Ordinance in Companion (3.5" barrel) and the Carry (3" barrel). I need to stay as close to the size of the Walther to fit my needs but I have not found any stores in the Kansas City area that carry Para's so I can get me a good look. Again thanks.

I believe the 40 is worth the difference. The 45 doesn't get much velocity but the weight and design of the bullet makes the difference. My Kahrs get plenty of velocity for a tight group at 15 yds.
I have not done testing because the city is a difficult place to set up for that. Just from shooting the pistols, I get the impression that the 40 is quite a bit more powerful, but not much more difficult to shoot.
    Thanks
    Eric
