why are the ACP45s generally cheaper than automatic fire .45s is it less of a gun?

  I think you mean 45ACP......That is a name of a cartridge not a gun.....For instance a Colt M1911a1 Semi-automatic Pistol can be purchased in 45ACP or 38Super or 9mm calibers and also in 22 caliber.....A Ruger revolver can be purchased in 45ACP caliber as well as various calibers......john......
