I see from the Savage web site they are coming out with a new double barrel shotgun the 411. Anybody have any info on them yet.

I've seen a picture of them and they are very nice looking. Price is around $400 for 12 guage and like $420 for .410 and 20 guage. They are made in Russia and seem to have a little Schnabble on the foorend like the Superlite Citori. I think the weight was a little on the heavy side for a 20/.410 (around 7) but thats life in the new century.
When I first saw the picture I had them figured for several hundred$$ more than they really cost. I thought they looked classy. Still, I'd just as soon pay $300 for a used Stevens 311 in 410 which weigh around 6 1/4 and are built on a true 410 frame.0 -

Thanks, thats was what I wanted to know. If the 410 was built on a smaller 410 frame. 0
