Savage Model 219 info??

Does anyone have information on the Savage Model 219? What years were they made? What calibers were available? How accurate etc.?

Mr reference says they were made from the late 30's to the mid 60's, other then the break for W W II. (4) calibers listed, 22 Hornet, 25-20, 33-30, & 32-20. Can't help you with accuracy, never owned one.

I've got several old gun books to 1975- I couldn't find it in them. Which reference book do you use?
