Timing
Fort Knox: No apologies necessary. This "timing" question has been on my mind for a long time. Maybe someone can exlain it. As I see it, once the cylinder stop is in the cylinder cut, that's it. How can you change the chamber/barrel relationship without having to weld the original cut and make a new one? Maybe I'm missing something and "timing" has nothing to do with the cylinder stop.

After lockup, the angular relationship of revolver chambers with respect to the barrel can only be changed by shifting the bolt window and/or altering the bolt left or right by grinding and welding. This fix would be indicated only if all chambers suffered the same misalignment. 0 -
Makes sense. Thanks. 0
