COLT AR15
I'm looking for a Colt AR15 with 20" gov't profile 1-7"twist barrel in either A2 or A4 version. Does anyone know if that combo exists or where to find it?

How does one tell the difference between pre ban and post ban ar15 ?
Thanks for the help0 -
With a decent scope and quality ammo, you should be able to shoot 1" inch groups at 100 yds. By decent ammo I mean something like Federal Match, Black Hills 68 grain match hollowpoint, etc.
That price is good for a heavy barrel "match" rifle. With the detachable carry handle you can mount a good quality scope.
I like the Trijicon TA01 for use on my flat top. I believe it is easier to use a scope mounted on the flat top rather than the carry handle.0 -
sounds like a good deal jump on it

Lately, it seems all I do is point out that Colt AR-15 rifles were discontinued about 20 years ago. While I do it a bit tongue in cheek and GreenLantern thinks it is because I am afraid the misidentification will depreciate the value of my "precious" AR-15 rifles, it is also important to use correct nomenclature to help identify significant features that will not be present on later rifles. This rifle is a Match Target, not an AR-15, but it still sounds like a good deal.
As an aside, there is a one-hand keyboard that I think allows regular use of shift keys and the like. Have you looked at that?0 -
Judge.... Whether we like it or not, people will be refering to our black rifles with the handles on top as "AR-15's" long after we are gone. Its a testament to their popularity.
I also use the term when refering to my collection of which only one has "AR-15" stamped on the side. Its just a habit we all got into.
Happy shootin, and dont worry, your gun values will still go up!!
btw, you'd have to be nuts to sell them.0 -
