FN 49 IN 30-06
Hello Ya'll
I stumbled on this rifle at a yard sale. I had a Idea what it might be. Guy said he had it 30 years. IT is 30-06 has a ten round fixed mag. Semi auto, good to very good condtion. What struck me is how well made is is. He was asking 200.00 but came down to 160.00. Only thing written on the rifle is Fabrique National D' Armes De guerrel Herstal Belgique. It also has AL Stamped on the breech.Does anyone have any experince with this rifle? How do they shoot? He sez he has the original bayonet somewhere. Also came with a sling.I figured a 30-06 in semi auto for 160.00 how could I go wrong? Any thoughts on this rifle? Thankyou.

A freind of mine hass one with egyptian markings chambered for 8mm mauser. Frabrique National made these in 7mm,8mm and 30-06. At $160 ibeleive you got a steal.

Although shotguns are my thing, I do have a few FN-49's. I don't have a 7MM or a 30-06. They will bring $400-$600 at gun shows in north Florida / south Georgia or south Alabama.
If you didn't buy it go back tomorrow as soon as possible and BUY it!
