ODD PROOFMARK / MAKERS LOGO IDENTITY???
i have a customer who owns 2 .22 rimfire bolt action rifles with a proofmark / makers logo that i am having trouble tracking down. the logo is a hammer in a circle. its a "THOR`S" style hammer seen in profile inside a circle located on the recievers top 1/8" forward of the chamber. the gun is otherwise bereft of identifiable markings.
i do not think that it is from north america, england, germany, belgium, spain, or portugal. my thought is dutch, or swedish.
please help me out. best regards, mike.

Tula Arsenal, used the hammer in profile mark on Mosin-Nagant Rifles, according to my references. Couldn't find anything regarding that same marking on .22 rifles, their's always a possibility? 0 -
RUFE-SNOW, you are correct about the TULA logo. i have compared the mystery logo with TULA logos on two guns in the shop, and they do not match. i have looked through several referance books, including the TOPPS proofmark bible, and cannot find it. best regards, mike.
