Kel-Tec P11 w/ P40 Conversion

Is it true that the Kel-Tec P11 can us the Kel-Tec conversion kit and it still uses the same magazine?

Measure twice, cut once.

Empty the clip!

  I have one of these and the origonal intention was to use the 9mm magazine with it. It will work better with the 40 S&W magazine as the feed lips on the later versions are different. With the 9mm magazine, the nose of the cartridge will hit the feed ramp lower than with 40 mag. This can cause it jam sometimes. I polished my feed ramp and they work pretty well. The 9mm mag also holds one less round. If you go to the Kel-Tec owners group web page, you can read a good write-up on the 40 S&W magazine problems.
