    Note that many mil-spec barrels will close on a commercial no-go gauge. Unless your rifle closes on a 'field' gauge I would not sweat it that much.

    Insufficient headspace is a far more dangerous condition than slightly excessive headspace, and yes that is correctable with a chambering reamer.

    That said, it would almost require that the barrel to be mischambered to allow for that degree of excessive headspace and I would immediately contact the barrel manufacturer. If at all possible, obtain a barrel and bolt as a set, or at least from the same maker.
