Book on Savage
I am very interested in learning about savage arms and what names and when they were produced by Savage arms. Can anyone give me this information or know of a book that would have this type information? I have contacted savage and they will not even talk about anything more than 5 years old or so. Sure. Go to: http://www.savage99.com/ Of the two books shown, the one on the right, the more expensive one naturally, is probably the better and more useful for your purposes. They cover different information, and therefor both may be of interest.

About the most knowledgeable person (that I know of)on Savage is a fella by the name of John Callahan. He takes phone calls for information ONLY betweew 6 & 8 pm ET, Monday-Thursday.
