Brown Bess sold at auction
I could not find my original posting, and I wanted to let all those that responded what happened to the Brown Bess.
It was sold today at an auction in St. Louis, Mo. for $1,100.00. I was with my Brother-in-Law when he bought it and that is what he payed for it, so I guess it was a "wash".
(My Brother-in=Law passed away last August and I was helping out his wife).
Again, thank you all for your help in identifying this piece.
