I have had good luck with a scope mount I purchased from rifletech.com. It does not rock and it replaces your existing dust cover on your rifle.

Do not buy the type that mounts on the side of the reciever. I wasted my money on one and they are crap. I put a scope with four feet of adjustment from dead center on one of these and still can't get it close to paper. Also they have these four bolts on the side of the reciever to take care of this problem but it just puts you slide in a bind. I am going to try a top mount next hopefully it will work.

Sorry to say I've tried almost all and a scope and an SKS just don't work well together. An SKS is good for shooting using the iron sight, it simply does not work well with a scope.

The SkS is at best 110 to 150 yard gun. I tried scoping mine with various mounts that didn't work. If you want accuracy go with a bolt action rifle in .223 or up and reach out and touch something.

I haven't seen one yet that will group decent beyond that range with iron sights.
