champion shotgun

Any one out there ever heard of a old shotgun called champion the breech plate flips over to the right has a very large hammer on the the side can not make out the proof marks yet but the barrel seems to be solid well i don't see any ring marks in it has a steel butt plate just got it to day i brought it because its odd look will try to give more information has a lot of rust.

  Gun values are different depending on the part of the country you hail from. I tend to set the price of utility singles and B/A's at about half of what you quote. This is partly due to the fact that I quote wholesale prices and partly due to the fact that these types of guns have NO following here in the northeast.
  
  The Champion in question will get little attention hereabouts no matter the gauge or condition. $35.00 will buy a sound gun and $20.00 more will get an almost new one. At any price above that the gun will not sell.
  
  Make that gun a Belgian double (unsafe to shoot, poorly built, and worn out), put a price of $150.00 on the piece, and folks will be standing in line. Go figure!
  
  So I'll send you a barge full of utility singles and you send me back a bunch of Belgian doubles.

  this is for nord. are you saying all belgium doubles are trash? thats like saying all english guns are trash. I challenge you to find on the net a francotte or defourney or browning 410 for less than 5 grand. like wise it would be no challenge for me to find a cheap english gun.

  The Belgian doubles he is referring to are the millions of utility grade cheapie doubles made in Belgium and imported into the US in the late 18th-early 19th centuries.
