Webley Mark II revolver

Hope someone can help me on the subject item. I can't find any information on the revolver. It has a 4 inch barrel and looks like a 455. The barrel has a couple of bulges from a hot round or something. Any information on this Webley would be appreciated.

  The Webley MKII was just a slight modification to the MK I; a slight change grip countour, a different barrel latch, and a bigger hammer spur. The MK II was produced from around 1895 to 1900 and was replaced by the MK III at that time. The caliber should actually be .44 Webley, first as a black powder cartridge and later smokeless. This cartridge has been long obsolete, it was probably loaded up to WWII and then discontinued and may well be a collectors item now a days. The bulge you see in the barrel is nearly always caused by firing an under powered round (a squib load), having the bullet lodge in the barrel, and then firng another round without removing the first bullet. This action will bulge a barrel without fail in nearly every case.
