1847 Walker Colt Replica
I have a replica 1847 Walker Colt ,44 cal. made in Italy. The gun has no makers name, just Italian proofs and a stamp that says "Black Powder Only" Many parts are numbered (all the same). Steel frame with brass trigger guard. The gun was purchased new about 25 years ago. It is well made and a good shooter. Anyone have any idea of who could have made it and what the value would be?
Thank you,
Taperloc.

As you may know, all the reproduction cap and ball pistols are made in Italy, with the exception of Ruger. I don't know which company made your gun.
This gun would not have collector's value.
A new Walker, by Pietta, is available now from Cabelas for $260, so you have to compete with that price. I would have to pay $10 or so for Cabelas to ship it. But, they are going to have an ironclad warranty.
If I saw you at a gun show and the gun was in really good shape and I wanted a Walker, I would give you $210 for it.0 -
I sold one about a year ago NIB for $200, Armi San Marco. 0
