2003 standard catalog of firearms
Colt Sauer bolt-action rifle discontinued by Colt in 1985. IT IS MANUFACTURED FOR COLT BY J.P. Sauer & Son of Germany. Gun features a non-rotating bolt which makes the action smoother. I am quoting from the book. I hope this helps. Prices vary in different parts of the country but it gives you a reference to go by.

Gun can bring more $$$ than Standards Catalog lists.
Blue Book at least on this item is on target.
Value increases $25-$50 if orginal bases are on.
Have sold a good number of them.
375 H&H seems to be holding it's own, again.

I do not think you can get a Colt Sauer in excellent condition for less than $1500.The Guns and Glass can email me if he has one for $995 in caliber I am looking for for immidiate cash.
