TAURUS BARREL QUESTION

I have a fairly new Taurus 627.(I got it new around Christmas) It hasn't been fired that much. There seems to be something that looks like a little rust just on the inside of the barrel. Is there any way of getting rid of this?

  run a little bit of fine steel wool down the barrel like you would a cleaning patch. Then clean your bore as you normally would.

  Instead of the steel wool I'd use a small peice of stainless steel pot scrubber.
