W.W.II Revolver Value ?

I have a Rast & Gasser 8MM. 8 shot Revolver.Made in Austria.Brought home from Germany W.W.II w/holster.(1944/1945)

Now I have found the paper certificate signed by Capt.W.E.Suller
giving permission to keep this firearm as a personal possesion.It also
has the European Theatre Stamp.

Thought some of you collectors may help me determine what the value of this might be.What does the certificate add to the value?

Anyone know a Web-Site where I can learn more about this handgun?

Where I can find info. on the type of 8 MM Ammo. and where I can buy Ammo to fit.

  Depending on condition:
  
  8mm Rast & Gasser M1898
  
  V.G. = $300
  Good = $200
  Fair = $150
  
  The holster and papers would add a bit, but I don't know how much.

  Believe your referencing the Rast & Gasser Army Model of 1898. This was one of the primary handguns that the Austro-Hungarian Military was armed with during W W I.
  The major market for many of these 19th century military arms is now in Europe. This is due to many factors, one of the most important is the restrictive firearms laws on the books of many of the European Countries. Their seems to be more tolerence toward the ownership of the original 19th century firearms as historical objects.
  One of the primary factors for determining value is condition. It has to be in excellent, original condition with original holster and accessories to command top value.

  Fiocchi has the cartridge listed on their web-site as "Limited Availability". Contact as many of their dealers as you can, you might get lucky?. Be prepared for "Sticker Shock", none of their specialty cartridge loadings are cheap.

  Dangerous Dave at Old Western Scrounger has ammo for it. Search online. The old weapons are a hoot to shoot.
