9mm llama or 9mm jennings:
I WAS THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING A JENNINGS BECAUSE THEY LOOK REAL COOL AND ITS PERFECT TO CARRY ON YOU FOR SELF DEFENSE I ALREADY OWN A LLAMA BUT I HAVENT HAD THE CHANCE TO POP OFF SHOTS DOES A 9MM HAVE A GOOD KICK OR IS IT SIMILAR TO A 22 LR? AND LAST HOW WOULD YOU COMPARE A 9MM'S KICK TO A 45 AUTO'S KICK?

Avoid Jennings if you value your life. 9mm is mild in recoil, easily handled with one handed shooting. Kicks more than a .22lr considerably less than a .45acp. I'd avoid Llama personally as well but if Jennings and Llama are your only choices I'd get the Llama.

So, who's your favorite big screen cowboy?0 -
rldowns3 has hit the nail on the head!!! Go buy a Kel-Tec or something else besides the Jennings 9mm. More money but much better investment. As to the llama in 45 some shoot good others don't. It is best to stay away from the llama as well but as rldowns3 stated it is a better choice than jennings 9! There are some decent 45 conceal carry guns that do not cost an arm and a leg out there but you have to look. Once you get used to the little fat boys kick (45 ACP) it ain't so bad. I carry a S&W 457 as a conceal carry piece myself. Just my 2 cents worth.[8D] 0 -
My personal take is that we would all be much safer if this individual just went ahead & got the Jennings.jmho

I ended up with a Jennings 9mm from the widow of a friend. She needed the money and I was just trying to be helpful. I have said this before, they are Jam-a-matics. The only good use for one is sink ten of them into cement, tie a rope to the cement and use it for a boat anchor.....[:)] JMHO

Question: Do you want to use them for anchors or paperweights?
Sorry playboy but if you're not a troll you have a lot to learn. If you are just a young fella with questions, fine, just don't blow smoke or pretend to be someone you are not. Young people with questions are welcome here.

Yes you need a Jennings! Throw away that Llama & get 2 or 3 Jennings. That Jennings would make a great backup for that Highpoint Arms carbine when you're out deer hunting.

I think El Capitan Kirk is on holiday.
Have you ever tried wild boar hunting? I hear the 9mm is a great cartridge for boar.
