SKS/AK front sight post question

I have always thought one moved the front sight post on an SKS/AK to the LEFT looking down the barrrel if I wanted the bullet to impact more to the RIGHT. In other words, shouldn't I move the front sight post the opposite direction that I want the bullet impact to move towards? Thanks.

  OK drobs, thanks. I'll check it out. The stupid chinese instructions I got with my SKS sight tool are a$$ backwards. I thought they were.
