How do you take the front sights off a rem 742 ?

  Will, there are two screws holding it on, one is visible, the other is under the sight blade itself, the sight blade must be drifted out with a punch, or a "pusher" I use a short piece of old aluminum cleaning rod to place against the sight blade and a hammer it out from left to right, looking at the sight from the breech.
