Scope misalignment

My scope is not centered on the gun, but sits noticeably to the right.
I have all the adjusted the windage knob to the fullest extent, what else can I do to fix the problem?

  Sounds like the mount is off. However, what rifle?

  is it an integral scope mount or are you using a base system? are you using the same tap holes(check visually). if it is a mauser action, you will need a riser. are both scope rings the same?

  Hi. Ohioghog has a point. What rings are you using? How is it off centre? Is it the whole thing or just one end or is it just the cross hairs are canted to the right? A picture would be ideal, but not everybody has the technology for that. Take the scope and mounts off and re-install them. Be sure and have it bore sighted. You can get a tool(Brownell's, I think) to do this with or take it to your smithy.
