9mm Para/Luger

I did a search to find the answer but failed. What is the difference in these two rounds?

  It's just two different names for the same round.
  
  I have read descriptions about how the names evolved, but cannot recall the specifics. Perhaps someone else can give the details?

  Latin-para(for) bellum (warfare).
  Luger was the designer of the round and the pistol that fired it.
  9mm Parabellum/Luger are the same round.
  NOT to be confused with 9x18, 9x21, 9mmKurz, 380Long, or 9mm win mag.

  9MM Parabellum=9MM Luger=9X19
  
  Just three names for the same thing.
