Contender action opening problem

I just bought 3 barrels for my Contender. The barrels go on and lock up right but when you go to open the action the barrel gets locked in and the gun won't open. I have no problem with my other barrels or it. I was wondering if anyone esle has had this problem and what i need to do to fix it. These are contender barrel not encore barrels. thank you for any help you guys can give me.

  If it is an old-style frame, the barrel lugs may be binding on the front of the trigger housing. Otherwise, the problem is generally that the trigger housing is not able to move far enough. This can be from an overlength locking bolt spring, or even too tight of an overtravel adjustment.

  I have the same problem with just one barrel. I sometimes have to remove the barrel pin to be able to get the barrel off.

  THIS WAS A FAIRLY COMMON PROBLEM WHEN T/C WENT TO THE NEW STYLE FRAME. THEY WILL FIT THE BARRELS FOR FREE BUT YOU HAVE TO SEND THE GUN AND BARRELS TO THEM.

  Had the same exact problem some years back; took frame/barrel to Charlie's gunsmith-1 week later, I was out shooting again. Cost me $15.
