F.I.E. question
I just bought a Kel-Tec 40cal for $180 and was sold a FIE 38 special revolver with it for $70. I can't find any information on this gun though. It has a six inch barrel. I was only interested in the Kel-Tec and was there at Lunch time and had to get back to work. I thought it said Titan, but Titans are semi-autos. I don't see any FIE's on any Auctions.
Can anybody tell me about this gun?

Ruger, that revolver is probably a FIE Model 386TB. FIE imported quite a few revolvers during the early 1980's from the German firm Arminus. I believe the Model 386 is identical to the Arminus Model HW-38. These were discontinued in around 1986 and the old retail was around $200. These are serviceable revolvers and pretty well made, but they don't retail for much over $150 if NIB. If the pistol is in good shape, $70 would be very fair.

There was a FIE Titan Tiger .38 Special revolver. It was originally made by H. Weirauch (sp?) in Germany and imported by FIE. Later the same gun was manufactured in Florida.
The German guns were of better quality. The Titan Tiger is a cheap but serviceable revolver.
Below is a link to one that I sold here a while back.

Nunn;
That's it, but the one I bought is in much better shape.
