vertec vs centurion 40cal
Currently have both in 40 cal. Am supposed to evaluate the vertec as a replacement for those of us with small hands in my dept. Took Vertec to range and found that although it is very similar to centurion in most respects it shoots totally different. It seems to have much more of a snap in recoil. It feels good in the hand but I am not sure about it to replace my centurion at this point. Anyone have any thoughts?

Maybe you should look for something with a single stack magazine well. Maybe a 9mm. Like a smith and weeson 3rd gen auto based on the SW 39. 0 -
The snap you feel is pretty much the same recoil concentrated in a smaller grip. Maybe a different grip/material would soften the felt experience. I like Hogue rubber grips--perhaps there's something available by now for the Vertec.

is there much that can be done to improve the trigger pull-it also feels different or maybe its just not broken in yet? 0
