another AK question...Mark Christian

Ok...after the last post about removing the Trigger group from my AK...someone mentioned that the parts were from Century and we all know they are a bunch of hackers over there. I removed my trigger and made sure they were all US parts, and the Trigger had stamped on the side FSE. I have seen the whole trigger group in catalogs for about $40 for the same ones made by FSE. Are these parts good or should they be replaced with something of higher quality? I figure I'm putting a lot of effort in to this gun and I want it in tip top shape.

  I think as long as you have no problems I would leave it alone.After all its an AK.The guns with 2001 and up after the serial no.are usually very good quality.HTH

  one other thing. I noticed that the trigger is marked FSE...the rest of the parts inside have the US markings...a C in a circle. Does FSE mark all of their parts FSE USA or just the trigger?
  
  I want to know the quality of the parts in this gun...it works fine, but I guess i'm just curious.

  Is it a Century Arms gun? You might want to call them and ask your question concerning the FSE parts. I've heard of some problem called trigger slap though don't think I've experienced it. If that was the case I could see replacing it.

  found out on another board....all FSE parts are labeled FSE USA. The parts with the C in the circle are Century parts.
  
  Thanks for the help drobs. I haven't experienced any trigger slap...so I don't have a problem with that. Soon as I get it refinished, I'm going to put it back together and shoot the crap out of it [:D]
