My Interarms MegaStar 10mm

These MegaStars were only imported for a couple of years in the early 1990's. These are big pistols and found limited interest in a market already crowded with other .45 and 10mm handguns from more established big bore manufacturers. The MegaStars ambidexterous decocking lever was an interesting feature. These pistols generally retail in the $400 to $500 range if NIB with the papers. Spare magazines (which are the pre-ban component and went into effect in 1994) are tough to find and expensive when you do.

Welcome to the furum koltus... Mark has given a great synapsis of the gun as usual. The 10mm is a great cartridge, unless your personal defense role has already been filled by a magnum level cartridge, I'd sure think about keeping it. They are more powerful than the .45, equal the .357 mag, and can approach .41 mag levels.
I didn't know Interarms made a 10mm. I'll have to look for some pictures of one - I can't place 'em.

In life, two things are guaranteed: You were born, and you will die.
What happens in between is up to you.

The MegaStar was doomed from the get-go by its enormous bulk and weight. About the only way to carry it concealed was to drag it around in a wagon with a sheet over it.
