Another question for the Star Super B 9mm

As mention earlier I purchased a new spring for this pistol from Wolfe Gunspings. I noticed the new one is approx 1" longer than the original, Wear?? Wrong Spring?

  NOPE, YOUR OLD SPRING IS ABOUT 1" SHORT. SPRINGS LOOSE SOME 'SPRING' AND SHORTEN UP OVER TIME AND USAGE.
