The gun you always buy from somebody always has a story behind it. These gun came from the northern part of the USA. They were used as pament to a rancher for Bulls that the gentleman bought. The 22-250 I have more imfo on but have not seen. It is a L579 Deluxe. On the butt plate is a engraved fur tree. The wood is dark and has engraved floor plates and trigger gard. Silver inlay. It doesnot say finnbear. The 2506 and 300 have light colerd wood. The 2506 has a sorter barrel than the 300. The 2506 has stoger or somthing to that efect on the bottom of the barrel. The 300 has garcia on the barrel. I priced a 7mag 2 years ago and this is what they wanted 1100 for a hunter and 1400 for the deluxe so that is why I thought they were priced ok.
