Model seven single shot??

I purchased a remington 7 in 223, reloaded new winchester brass and the darn thing won't eject the round?[:(!]

  Does it extract but not eject, or is this a failure to bring the fired round out of the chamber?
  
  The Model 7 has a spring loaded plunger-type ejector in the bolt face similar to the Model 700. Take the bolt out of the rifle and you should see this plunger protruding into the bolt face from the front.

  Is it an unfired round?
  If so:
  Check the cartridge OAL and/or crank back harder on the bolt--it ain't made out of candy.
