Serious Question

If I came across some hi cap magazines that have the following stamped on the side, RESTRICTED-LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE ONLY, could I get in trouble as a private citizen now for having them??? Or even sell them on Gunbroker???? Thanks!!!!

  As a private citizen you are not allowed to posses any restricted post ban magazines. These restricted magazines are allowed to be possesed only by police, military, FFL dealers, and a few other narrow catagories of people. There are fines for unlawful possession and who ever gave them or sold them to you is also in violation of the law. The correct thing to do is hand them over to the nearest law enforcemet agency. I know this is all rediculous, but this is how the law is written. DO NOT attempt to sell them as ONLY FFL dealers are allowed to do this.

  Dude, either put them back in your arms room where you "found" them if you are still in or, leave them with the Training NCO of a National Guard/Reserve unit.
  
  Ain't worth going to jail for something that dumb.
  
  As far as selling them on GB- remember that the Dept of Justice and BATF have both recently been involved in some internet stings.
