colt 1904?
my buddy was wondering if theres such thing as a colt 1904 thats 32 caliber.

Colt Pocket Hammerless Model 1903, came in .32, .380, and .38acp.
No model 1904.

I am aware of a Colt Model 1903 in .32 ACP and a Model 1905 in .45 ACP...but a Model 1904 is a real stumper. We have a couple of hard core Colt collectors on our boards and one of them may be able to find some information for you...but I doubt a Model 1904 exists. Do I understand correctly that you are currently in Africa on the Red Sea coast above Ethiopia and next to the Sudan?

Now, if we want to get really obscure here....there was a Colt Auto that is sometimes referred to as the Model 1904.
It was a prototype for a submission to the U.S. Army (the Model 1905). It was based on the 1902 Military Model and was chambered for a round based on the .45 (Long) Colt with a cannalure in place of the rim.
There's a picture of it on page 143 of "Colt Automatic Pistols" by D.B. Bady.

While Xracer is right, it is really splitting hairs since the "model 1904" never become a recoginized Colt pistol. When the pistol was introduced it carried the designation Model 1905.
