Colt National Match

I have an old Colt National Match (ser#1240x-NM) that I'm thinking of listing, but have some questions regarding descriptions and price. Any help would be appreciated as I am not familiar with NRA grading or pricing and do not want to misrepresent anything. I bought it used 20+ years ago, and except for some nice stag grips had thought it original. The barrel bushing and plunger are radiused to fit together, a shoulder rather than stepped, is that original?
Though mechanically the most dependable I have ever shot, it shows expected blue wear from carry, would this be NRA very good ? I do not have box or papers just very dependable nice shooting pistol, where should I be price wise? I could e-mail photo from: medusaface1@aol.com

Sirs: I have an older colt national match, ser#124xx-nm, which has been my best buddy for years. I don't know when it was made, or it's value. Though carried it is in good to very good cond. Any help is appreciated. 0 -
Well, you've got a late-1963/early-1964 pistol there. In descriptive terms, "NRA Very Good" is better than no description at all but most collectors are going to want the description evaluated on the percent scale. Lacking that, take as many good clear pictures as possible and be sure to show the wear in the pictures.
In the condition you are describing, I'd imagine it would sell for around $800. There is not much of a premium for the post-war NM's over the Gold Cup/70's unless in mint w/box or NIB condition.
