hi, i just purchased a pre war(i think) a5. it has on the forearm "browning 3 shot" there is no mention of this in the blue book. i'm pretty sure its a pre war 1936 manufacter but not positive. anybody familiar with this? if i'm right, is it more or less desireable than the 4/5 shot? thanks for help

  Prewar without a doubt. Price will be in the same general area as the 5 shot model. Deduct a bit for the forward safety, but not all that much. Nice gun!
