Steven's Peerless .22 pump rifle info/value

I'd like ifo on a "Steven's Peerless" .22 pump rifle(same as Savage29)
Did they ever come with factory tang sights. What would be the value of one in 99% condition. It's not listed in the neq BlueBook but then it is the same as the 29 Savage. Thanks for any help.

  I can't help you alot on value other than to say that Your Peerless should bring comparable Savage 29 pricing particularily if the condition is as you state. I have never seen a Peerless and would very much like some pictures for my file. Is this an octagon barrel, straight or pistol grip? Is it possibly a Stevens Model 75? Lots of different sites were possible from the factory. Stevens was noted for making Model number changes just because of the sites like Model 70 thru 72 1/2. I hope that this helps.   My curiousity is getting the best of me. Yours could possibly be a Savage 25? 25's and 29's are quite similar. I've seen several private label 25's listed as 29's. I'd still love some pics for my file.

  Sorry I can't help with a picture but I'll look at it again this weekend if it's still there, and get serial number. Also the Stevens Peerless is stamped on the flat side of the receiver, opposite of the ejection port on two lines.
