Anybody have any experience with these new cartridges? Seems like they might be the wave of the future for varmint. The shorter receiver should be stronger more vibration proof, and there is a lot of great bullets in these calibers. Just dreaming about my next project for now.

  I would probably be interested if they actually used a short action to barrel them and not a super short action. Eventually you will burn a barrel, and rebarreling those rifles, will only allow another super short chambering. that's pretty much my only greivance with them.

  I talked with Winchester last week. They are not going to be out till September. If anyone knows different please let me know.

  i think the major gun manufacturers are "digging deep" to come up with new stuff. the .17 is one example, im sure there are more. i like my oldie but goodies.
